Looking for a Google Wave invitation? Well here's your chance!
In the next week, the top 5 people who post on the most on the forums will get a nomination for an invitation. That's right, all you have to do is post a lot on the forums.

Hello all,
It's been a while since a weekly update has been posted and we apologize for that. Basically, either I (Matt) or Craig have had computer issues and in the time that both of us were functioning together, the rest of us just became accustomed to not posting updates weekly and I apologize again.
Basically I'd like to inform you all what has been going on the past few weeks and a few plans going on, that will hopefully update some people who are already members and maybe motivate some of you guys to join who aren't yet members.
When I came back after my computer issues I immediately attacked our first issue, MTD Khaini which was in a bit of a rough spot. I'm happy to say that our Khaini branch is for the most part on track again though could still use a bit of work. Also Flamechocobo our Bera MTD leader has worked diligently on also increasing the activity level of his branch as well. Scania and Windia as well are in great shape. Broa could definitely use some work, but that is basically at the top of our list of things to do.
We also are again in need of a MTD Broa branch leader. Whether permanent or temporary (though preferably permanent). If you are interested please click the appropriate link listed at the end of this update.
Also, there is two events in planning right now for MTD members. Both of their links can also be found below along. To join MTD, please click the corresponding link to the branch you would like to join.

Hello all,

Comment System Update & Event Managers

The commenting system has been fixed to allow comments to be entered. It seems that a recent update broke it and now that has been resolved. Also, searching quests works again, thanks to all that have reported the bugs!
Finally, we are looking for people to add to our friendly team. Essentially, you will go around MapleStory hosting events sponsored by MapleTip. You'll get a monthly budget in which you should use to spend on MapleStory related items and gain visitors to the site. (You'll even be able to keep a small portion of the money!)
To sign up, please send me a private message with the following information:
1. What is your schedule like? How much time do you have?

A fan has created a mockup of how the UI would look on the iPhone. It looks very interesting and it's worth a look.
Only thing that seems hard to manage would be the number of active spells you have and the fact that you need to use potions and recharge skills simultaneously (especially when you are fighting a boss!

MapleStory Patch v0.78 - Quick bug fixes!

Looks like the latest patch brought some pretty bad problems (including problems with crashing when using trade!)
It'll be fixed in tonight's patch though, so don't be alarmed.

MapleStory patch v0.77 - BRING HALLOWEEN ON!

Nexon has announced their newest patch which will last approximately 7 hours. Looks like Halloween is coming again and we'll definetly have the latest updates as soon as possible when the game comes up!
The patch will occur tonight at 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM PDT.
Be sure to post screenshots of the halloween events!

In order to have more guild-centered chats, votes, etc, we'd like to gather all Maple Tip Dynasty members names. It would be very difficult for us to find each of your MT names in game because we can't always catch everyone online, so it is much easier for us if you simply post it below.
If you are a MT Dynasty Member in ANY Maple Story server that we have a branch in, please reply below with your in game IGN.
The overall point of this is to change members titles to "MD Members" or if you would prefer not to change into an MD Member, please state that. By becoming an MD Member you can see the sub-forum in the Maple Tip Dynasty forum that can only be viewed by the MD Members.

Nexon Cash is now NX

That quote was grabbed from a Flash animation you can see on all NexonAM sites. No, it doesn't mean what we all think it means. They're simply changing their image and name from NexonAM to... Blockheads?
Wait, what? Check out Hime's forum post: What is going on at Nexon.net you ask?? The Blockheads (the feisty little green dudes with party hats) have come to share the BlockParty gospel in their…"unique" way. We don't always understand their tactics, but they know how to have fun doing it, so what are you going to do?
So check out the BlockParty infotainment animatory thing. The Blockheads spent a lot of time on it, and we're pretty sure you will see why. (Source: NexonAM Forums)

- I don't have much news for you guys this week or the weeks ahead because my internet is down. Just some issues at home... I won't be back until around October 15th online MS but via work and school I'll visit mapletip. My sister is leaking off a neighbors internet so will be online, if you need me, ask her. I'm really sorry guys and I wish it wasn't like this, I have too much work to do with MTD.

A Warning About Illegal (Private) Servers
As we've recently seen more problems with illegally operated, private servers, we wanted to provide information to our players regarding the dangers of these operations...
I don't know why they brought this issue up again.
I don't know. I just don't.
What baffles me is how there are actually more problems now with private servers. I always thought the private server scene died ages ago. I can see the servers still going on, but being more problematic than the "outbreak" when they were first released is a bit of a puzzling concept.
But then again, what do I know. Nexon wouldn't want competition. In their Maple Story.

Just another CS update.

Hello ladies and gentlemen. It's me, iamflip. GMS is going through another patch today... and it's full of NX sadly. There are some nice events going on though... and that Mecha mount...
The patch started at midnight PDT (3 AM EDT) and... wrongfully assuming that things goes well as planned, the servers will be back on and live at 10 AM PDT (1 PM EDT).
So... what do you guys think of the patch?

- Want to know some things to come with MTD? Well I've made a topic describing everything Moonlapse and I (Mattsnipdu) plan on doing with the guild soon. And after that, we'll be doing even more! Check out the topic! Changes To Come! Feel free to post suggestions, comments, anything in that topic!

Ok... not really wild, but at least news has cropped up that he's still alive. In case you didn't know, he was former part of the NexonAM staff as part of Community Relations.
Anyway... I wouldn't call him NxJoeW anymore, at least according to this YT vid. What could he be up to? Click on the link and find out yourself. :]

MapleStory's on Facebook!

Looks like MapleStory has jumped on the facebook bandwagon. It's just another thing Nexon is doing to improve relations with the community. Of course, MapleStory also has their own twitter.
This is a great improvement from when MapleStory just started and we had no good means of communicating to Wizet/Nexon. Good job Nexon, keep it up!
